The Science and Technical Park is a multi-purpose complex of workplaces supporting research and development in rail transport.

The Science and Technical Park is a multi-purpose complex of workplaces supporting research and development in rail transport. The workplaces, research laboratories, meeting rooms, seminar and assembly rooms are concentrated in one two-storey building. Its design will allow construction of one or two more storeys in the future without great difficulties.

The complex also includes outdoor parking sites and a relaxing zone with greenery. The entire complex has a technical appearance.

The Science and Technical Park incorporates three basic functions. A Scientific Centre, a Centre of Scientific and Technical Information and a Scientific Incubator. The Science and Technical Park comprises of scientific research workplaces and facilities that serve for study, training, presentations and seminars to subjects related to the rail transport. It consists of offices, computer laboratories, EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) laboratory, climate laboratory, etc. The EMC laboratory has the dimensions of 3.8 x 7.4 x 3 m and contains very unique equipment. It provides "radio silence" where new electronic devices will be developed for the railway structures in the following years. The climate laboratory features two climate chambers where the temperature can reach -80 °C. This environment will also be used to test new electronic devices. The scientific incubator is used for internships and is rented to universities and external organizations. These workplaces will be used for limited periods by start-up businesses. The Centre of Scientific and Technical Information will provide training and presentation events to thematically related subjects. The individual sections will operate as permanent, occasional and leased sites as well as lecture or meeting rooms.
