for railway, road, and industrial structures, as well as engineering networks.
Its wide range of services also includes consultancy in related areas, from transport planning and financing to assessing its environmental impact.
The remarkable history of SUDOP PRAHA a.s. dates back to the 1930s when so-called design units were established within Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD). After 1945, they were succeeded by the Railway Design Headquarters, which merged with several smaller organizations in 1953. This led to the creation of the State Institute for Transport Design (SUDOP), which, as a state enterprise , was divided into several independent entities in 1991. The legal successor of the original institute became SUDOP PRAHA s.p., which was transformed into a joint-stock company, SUDOP PRAHA a.s., on April 1, 1992, and subsequently privatized. The sole shareholder is SUDOP GROUP a.s.
