SUDOP PRAHA a. s. pays considerable attention to the further education of its employees, both professional education and education in languages and computer technology. Employees are educated on a continuous basis as new regulations are being issued. The company provides specialised one-off tutorials and classes in accounting, tax issues or labour legislation. We organise introductory tutorials for designers regarding authorisation and ensure attendance at conferences and lectures concerning transport structures both in the country and abroad.
We have developed a learning path designed for a group of young employees who started working just recently to familiarise new people with the company, its history and existing organisation, issues of project activities, the most important legal regulations and certain features of conduct and communication.
A similar learning path has been designed for experienced executive designers as well with focus on broadening of their managerial knowledge and skills, psychological and social skills and professional qualification.
Language courses are provided through a language school. Lessons take place at the workplace. There are five levels for English, three levels for German and two levels for Russian.
In 2003, the company performed a full audit involving all employees to determine the extent of knowledge in the area of computer technologies and based on the results provided additional education classes that could be completed by obtaining the EDCL certificate. The company intends to follow this path with new employees as well in order to achieve an ideal extent of knowledge in all employees in the area of computer technologies.
